Schaeffler, a dynamic global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Talent Management Coordinator to support our Americas Learning and Development department  located in Fort Mill, SC. The Talent Management Team is responsible for the development and coordination of Talent Management and Leadership Development programs and processes across North and South America, this includes our locations in Canada, the US, Mexico, Brazil, and many of our sales office throughout the region. The role of Talent Management Coordinator supports our team achieve this mission by providing the tools, supporting the process, and serving as a reliable and expert consultant of all phases of the Talent Management cycle. We look forward to receiving your application!

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the annual Performance Review process and the Talent Review for the Americas Region.
  • Reporting on key statistics during the Talent Management Cycle.
  • Providing customer support as the technical expert for the Talent Management system.
  • Assisting HR with the collection and preparation of employee profile information.
  • Designing presentations for top management.
  • Creating and providing training for HR Business Partners, Managers, and Employees.
  • Assisting with the succession management process.
  • Assisting HR, managers and employees with the individual development planning.
  • Constantly improving the talent management process and system.
  • Maintaining reports on the department KPIs.
  • Collaborating with team members to support leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the global team in Germany.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A minimum of a BA in human resources, business, or equivalent education in a related field
  • A minimum of one (1) year relevant working experience
  • Demonstrated in previous experiences the ability to plan and organize tasks, providing data with quality and precision.
  • Initiative to propose improvements and solutions for the department, creativity and flexibility to adapt in eventual changes of scenario.
  • The ability to work in teams.
  • The ability to empathize with client needs and negotiate deadlines if necessary.
  • Written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office software, specially advanced knowledge in Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight trips within Americas Region.
